Have these totems been constructed to the glory of Iris, Zephyr or Eole ?
The late centuries left us menhirs, church steeples, towers ans castles... Stone totems to the glory of immaterial and intangible gods.
The consumering era's gods are far less spiritual.
But as gods, they require effigies sized to their power, and the Man grandiosly outdoes himself.
Spirituality : spiritualis in Latin, means what is related to the spirit, abstract meaning. Originating the word, we found the Latin roots spir and tus, spiritus meaning the breath...
There is something of that in the soothing seeing of these giant rotating blades, majestic blowing, something spiritual around these big wind mills.
